pay it forward

We like to pay it forward whenever we can around here.

On this page you will find information about initiatives and organisations we support in their quest to help kids in need.

Homeless No More
Helps to provide relief from financial hardship for those in the community in genuine financial need.  They provide donations in the form of gifts, food hampers, food, clothing and toiletries through community support and fundraising events like the 22km “Sneaks for Streets” Walk on the Central Coast of NSW on 5th August 2012.  I’ve signed up with some buddies – how about you?

Toy Challenge for the Toy Challenged Public Hospitals of Australia
A small voice wants to reverberate right around Australia. It wants to create change by way of providing our hospitals with much needed toys.

Toys = smiles and that also means instant joy for both the kids receiving and the friends who choose to donate.

Ruby, a little 4 year old we now call a friend, has been catapaulted into the public health system. Her mum is working terribly hard to bring about a toy revival at their local hospital, Royal Brisbane Childrens Hospital, and their foundation Working Wonders.

Each Hospital is different in terms of donations, so please take a peek at the links on their facebook page or google your local hospital for contact points.

Truly the difference a toy makes is unimaginable. Please also remember that our childrens hospitals take admissions of children from birth up to 16.
